Featured in this video is the Beijing Niujie Station (open since December 2021).

The station wall mural is an adaptation from Zhou Ling’s work "CREATION. HARVEST. HAPPINESS”, which is seamlessly integrated with the distinctive architectural silhouette at the Beijing Niujie Station.

The original 56 x 16 ft mural (shown below) was created in 1982 by Zhou Ling and her husband, Liu Bing Zhang, for the dining hall of Beijing Hotel. From concept to sketch to mark up on the wall, the married duo took it upon themselves to complete the art project without a single assistant. It took the pair two years to complete this beautiful work of art depicting the harmonious relationship of the Chinese people.
